ATHLETICS and ACTIVITIES PARTICIPATION FEE

Beginning this year, the Jackson School District will implement a "Participation Fee" for athletics and after-school activities at the middle school and high school levels. This new fee was discussed during the budget process and is being assessed to help create revenue to sustain district athletic and extra-curricular programming. For more information, see our Sports and Activities Participation Fee Information brochure and information. Questions may be directed to the people listed in the brochure.

Welcome Memorial Families,

It is that time of year again when thoughts of the new school year begin to mix with those of the last few weeks of summer vacation. With that in mind, I would like to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year. As you may know, I am returning to Jackson Memorial High School after eight years at the Christa McAuliffe Middle School.  As a former Jackson Memorial teacher and administrator, I am excited to return to “Jaguar Country” and work together to continue to make our high school a model of  21st Century Learning.

When students return in September they will notice many changes to our building.  The summer staff  has been working hard to improve the facility, making it a cleaner and more attractive place to work and learn.  Technology upgrades have started and soon all classrooms will have ceiling mounted LCD projectors and all teachers will have laptop computers to aid instruction.  This is all in addition to a number of new initiatives that are planned for this year.

Please join us for Back to School Night on September 30th beginning at 7:00 p.m.

If the administrative team of Heather Novak, Dan McDevitt, Carl Perino and I are able to assist in any way please call the main office at 732-833-4621. I am confident that this school year will offer many rewarding educational opportunities for the students of Jackson Township.  Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Sincerely,

Kevin DiEugenio,
Principal
